Georgia Militia Gate City Guard (Atlanta) Frock Coat

for Senior Officers
Post Civil War Georgia State Militia Gate City Guards (Atlanta) Senior Officers Frock Coat
    This is a variation of the U.S. Civil War Senior Officer's Double Breasted Frockcoat, as used by the Gate City Guard (Atlanta) of the Georgia Militia. It has the front buttons spaced per regulations and is made of dark blue wool and lined with black cotton. The collar and cuffs are made of the same material as the coat. The coat comes with an inside left breast pocket and rear skirt pockets with flaps, located in the back folds of the skirt. It has functional cuffs, with three button closure. The bottom hem of the skirt, comes with a raw edge as seen on original uniforms.

    This coat comes with a 14 button front and a total of 24 buttons.

    Dress epaulettes are worn with this coat and should be added in the shopping cart.
