 Packaged Coffee Beans  

Lion

    These packages are not intended as a way to purchase coffee, they are offered as prop items and as conversation pieces to add to your image. The coffee supplied in the packages is NOT Guaranteed to be fresh.

    Lion Coffee Bag (Small): This is NOT an authentic package. It is a label made from an old advertisement, glued to a cloth bag and closed with string tie. But, it does contain real coffee beans. Package is about 2 1/4" x 3" x 1 1/4" and weighs about 1 1/4 ounce. The empty bag will not register on my postal scale, so almost all of the weight is in the coffee. Coffee beans used will vary.

    Lion Coffee Bag (Large): This is also NOT an authentic package. This is the same label as on the small Lion bag, only larger, made from an old advertisement, glued to a cloth bag and closed with string tie. This bag also contains real coffee beans. Package is about 3 1/3" x 5" x 2 1/4" and weighs about 3 1/2 ounce. The empty bag weighs 2/10 of an ounce on my postal scale. Coffee beans used will vary.

    Chinese Block Tea: This is the compressed block of tea with Chinese writing on it. It is the standard import tea from China that was exported all over the world.

    Cotton Bag with Pull Ties: this bag is made from loose knit cotton and has an orange pull tie string, which could be replaced. They come in various sizes from 3" x 4" through 12" x 16", we don't list all the sizes available.

    Burlap Bag: Made from burlap. Available in various sizes from 8" x 12" through 18" x 24", we don't list all the sizes available.

    Suede Leather Pouch with Pull Ties: this pouch / bag is made from suede leather and is about 4" x 5". It comes in various colors, including: blood red (shown), dark brown and light brown / tan. This is the same pouch that comes with the marble games.

    General Note: The containers that these soft drinks come in are modern, although the drinks are mostly pre-1900. The Virgil's Bavarian Nutmeg Root Beer is the only drink we currently have that comes in a period style container. The Porcelain Top Glass Container dates back to the 18xxs, although the shape of the container and how the porcelain top was connected to the bottle have changed over time.
