Used By: At various times this hat has been used by: Police Departments, Fire Departments, Railroad Conductors, the Army, the Navy, the Coast Guard, Lighthouse Keepers and probably others. UNTRIMMED hat (NO chin strap or buckle, NO buttons, NO branch insignia and NO hat band. Artillery and Infantry Trimmed: versions are for information only. We no longer have any of the Artillery or Infantry hat bands available. They were originals and there are no more. Hat Band (Cavalry Only): The cavalry cap bands are available in the "Hat Band" drop down. The Cavalry Hat Bands that we have are ones we had made when we ran out of Originals. When they are gone, we will not have any more made. They come as a strip that needs to be sewn together at the ends and then placed on the hat. They DO NOT come in sizes. |

The Enlisted Cap: was worn plain, without any insignia. The Officer's Cap: was worn with the Officer's Embroidered Eagle Cap device (Insignia), as shown. The Eagle Cap Device IS NOT included with the cap, but can be add to your purchase for an additional amount. When purchased with the cap it is supplied loose, but can also be sewn on for an extra charge. Note: We currently do not have a supplier for this hat. If a new supplier becomes available in the future, we will offer it again at that time.
